AIBA held an open training session with the pupils of the Kharkov sports schools

More than 50 children took part in an open training session.

The international Boxing Association (AIBA) has given to the children of Kharkiv schools equipment for Boxing. More than 50 children took part in an open training session, which was held in the Palace of sports Lokomotiv, the programme Heads Up, which is based AIBA and aims to develop Boxing worldwide.

The training was attended by the President of the European Boxing Confederation (EUBC) Franco Falcinelli, Director of communications of the international Amateur Boxing Association (AIBA) Nicolas Jomard, the President of Federation of Boxing of Ukraine Vladimir Prodivus (FBU), first Vice-President of Federation of Boxing of Ukraine Dmytro shentsev.

The EUBC President Franco Falcinelli, said that Boxing is a luxury and noble sport that develops such qualities as courage, bravery, self-control, team spirit and disciplinary athletes.

“I’m glad that in Ukraine and in Kharkiv there are sports schools that cultivate and develop this sport. Now I look at young athletes in front of me that we gave the equipment on behalf of AIBA and its initiatives Heads Up and I see in their eyes the enthusiasm and inspiration, and most importantly, what we aspire to. In them I see the future of Boxing and see the future Champions, so we are on the right track together with the leadership of the EUBC and AIBA and Boxing Federation of Ukraine.” – commented Franco Falcinelli.

The President of the FBI, Vladimir Prodivus noted that during his tenure as special attention was paid to the development of youth sports, as a contribution to Zdorovje the younger generation.

“We want the children of the Kharkov school felt part of this celebration of the championship of Europe on Boxing. We hope that this will give them the impetus and motivation for achieving the most brilliant victories in their sporting future,” gave a farewell Vladimir Prodivus.
