Брок: Война на Донбассе начинается после 18:00, когда наблюдатели ОБСЕ возвращаются в казармы

The head of the foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament Elmar Brok

The war in the Donbass begins after 18:00, when the members of the Special monitoring mission of the OSCE, complete the work and return to their barracks. This situation in the future is unacceptable, the head of the foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament Elmar Brok, reports DW.

Answering the question of aggravation in the area Svetlodarskoye arc, he said that the separation line is formed is a grey area which sometimes face opponents that leads to the victims.

“And I see that the answer to how it can be worked out there. I think this is a serious problem that we have with the structure of the gray zone,” said Brock.

He suggested that the situation could solve the monitoring mission of the OSCE, but that has not happened.

“There should be found ways to prevent the infiltration of this area. It is possible and it would be necessary to provide primarily through the OSCE. But, alas, they, in accordance with the relevant rules and regulations security, should complete its work in 18 hours. And this process of penetration (the fighters into a gray area – ed.) happens mostly then when the OSCE is no longer in place. That is, after 18 hours, the war begins, when the OSCE returned to their barracks. And this is a situation which is unacceptable”, – said Elmar Brok.
