The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine received a note from the Embassy of Poland in Ukraine, which expresses concern at the attack of the Consulate General of Poland in Lutsk, and also requests to investigate the incident and bring those responsible to justice. This was stated by foreign Ministry spokesman Marian Betz, reports “Interfax-Ukraine”.

“Indeed, the MFA received the note, which expressed concern about the shelling of the Consulate General of Poland in Lutsk with a grenade launcher,” she said.

According to Betsy, the Embassy also appealed to the foreign Ministry with a request to assist in the proper investigation of the incident, search and prosecute the offender, as well as ensuring enhanced protection of all diplomatic institutions in Poland.

Betz confirmed that, at the present time the consular offices of Poland in Ukraine do not work.
