Juncker once again reminded that Ukraine has fulfilled all conditions for visa liberalization with the EU.

Ukrainians will be free from visa obligations of the European Union in a few weeks, wrote the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, the article Standing by Ukraine for the magazine Baltic Rim Economies.

European Commission President reminded that in 2010 the European Commission announced that Ukraine’s list of demands for reform, which it must fulfil to obtain visa-free regime.

“After a thorough and lengthy assessment, we concluded that these conditions have been met. Now we have to comply with their part of the agreement,” wrote Juncker.

“I believe that Ukrainian citizens will be free from the obligation of obtaining a visa in a few weeks,” – said the head of the European Commission.

Recently the Minister of foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin said that Kiev puts pressure on the EU to accelerate bizwise. According to him, is a process of several months.

Before that, the European Parliament removed the date of consideration bezveza Ukraine. Earlier specified date (April 2017) was called a mistake and said that the exact date is not yet determined.
