Foreign Ministry recommends Ukrainian citizens to refrain from visiting the prefectures of Fukushima, Iwate, Miyagi, Ibaraki, Chiba.

Embassy of Ukraine in Japan recommends Ukrainians, located in the prefectures of Fukushima, Iwate, Miyagi, Ibaraki and Chiba, to leave the coastal areas because of the danger of a tsunami from the earthquake. About it reports a press-service of the Ministry of foreign Affairs.

“It is important in connection with a powerful earthquake that occurred off the coast of Fukushima Prefecture (Japan) November 22, and given the persistent danger of aftershock Ministry of foreign Affairs recommends Ukrainian citizens to refrain from visiting the prefectures of Fukushima, Iwate, Miyagi, Ibaraki, Chiba. For those citizens of Ukraine who are on the territory of these regions, it is necessary to follow closely the authorities of Japan on the threat of further aftershocks and a tsunami,” – said in the message.
