Ukraine, Montenegro, Albania and Norway supported sanctions against Russia

Ukraine, Montenegro, Albania and Norway joined the EU decision to extend sanctions against Moscow.

Ukraine, Montenegro, Albania and Norway joined the EU Council decision to extend sanctions against Russia, said in a statement the head of European diplomacy Federica Mogherini.

13 March 2017 the Council of the EU extended sanctions against Russia, specifically with respect to 150 people and 37 entities have until September 15 of this year because of the threat to the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

“The candidate countries Montenegro and Albania, and the countries of the European free trade Association, member of the European economic area Norway, as well as Ukraine joined the Council decision (EU)”, – said in a Declaration on behalf of the EU.

Meanwhile, in the United States Senate Committee on foreign relations is not considering new sanctions against Russia.
