First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Irina Gerashchenko believes that the actions of the Russian Federation at the present time indicate that she’s not ready to give Kiev the former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych. She declared it on air of TV channel “112 Ukraine”.
“I believe that Ukraine should be the procedure of conviction of all involved in crimes against the Maidan. Today Yanukovych holds that country, which continues the war against Ukraine. It’s not like Russia was ready to give Yanukovych, but this does not mean that he should be punished. Obviously that has to take place before the end of the investigation the right to participate in all those tragic events, and he must bear responsibility before the Ukrainian and international justice,” she said.
