The protesters Ukrainians rightly I think that Yanukovych must be questioned as a defendant, not as a witness. Therefore did not use force against people who blocked the export of ex-“berkutovets” from prison. This position was expressed by MP, Secretary of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on law enforcement Anton Gerashchenko on air of TV channel “112 Ukraine”.
“MIA, Netpolice will not use force against the protesters, who rightly believes that Viktor Yanukovych should not be questioned as a witness and as a defendant. Unfortunately, previous attorneys General have done very little to hasten the moment that Yanukovych was charged in absentia charged and he was interrogated as a defendant. Why not wait on our blood. Yanukovych has shed her enough, so we used force to activists who do not want Yanukovych gave a platform for excuses in the Svyatoshinsky court. The task of the lawyers of Yanukovych and advocates who defend the “Berkut officers”, is very simple. They would like the court to ask him only one question: whether he considers himself involved in the murders on the Maidan?” – said Anton Gerashchenko.
According to him, with the court’s view, the actions of the protesters are not legal. However, the MP has proposed to the Constitution of Ukraine was amended, allowing for the uprising, “if the government is doing everything against the people.” He noted that in such cases, the citizens ‘ protests are justified.
We will note, the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov made with a similar position. He said that Yanukovych brought too much blood and misery to Ukraine, in order for him to use force against the protesters, the explanation of which is partly shared by the interior Ministry.
Recall, before the adjournment of the meeting in the case of ex-“berkutovets” the speaker “Right sector” Artem Skoropadsky confirmed that members of the organization block the exit of Lukyanovka jail.
According to him, the protesters suggest that the former “berkutovets” you can let go immediately after the questioning, however, Skoropadsky did not explain the basis for this assumption.
As previously reported, on November 25 in the Svyatoshinsky court of Kiev videoconference planned to interrogate Viktor Yanukovych in the case of 5 former employees of special forces “Berkut”, however due to the fact that suspects are unable to deliver to the courtroom, the meeting was adjourned and then postponed it to November 28.
After some time, the protesters unblocked the exit of Lukyanovka jail.
All the details are in the online broadcast of the interrogation Yanukovych in court.
