The Pechersky district court of Kiev satisfied the petition of Prosecutor’s office to grant permission to appeal to the competent authorities of the United Kingdom and the British virgin Islands with a request for information regarding the two companies, passing on the case of illicit enrichment of the former head of the national Bank and the first Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Arbuzov. This is evidenced by the decision of Pechersky regional court of Kiev from November 8.
We are talking about the companies Neoform Universal LPP and Reamex Invest S. A., the beneficiary of which, as found by the GPU, is Watermelon. These companies opened accounts in the Latvian Bank, Privat Bank.
The GPU has gained permission to request copies of passports of shareholders, ultimate beneficiaries, the authorised (entrusted) persons the card with samples of signatures and an impress of a seal, letters, statements, powers of attorney and other documents of these companies.
The petition was filed within the production of illicit enrichment in especially large sizes Arbuzov. The investigation established that during the period of stay on positions of the former head of the national Bank of Ukraine (2010-2013) and first Deputy Prime Minister (2013-2014) Arbuzov opened 15 accounts in four banks and the total income on the account amounted to 41,23 million, € 156 thousand and 177 thousand dollars.
At the same time in 2011 Arbuzov declared total of 2.05 million UAH of income and 2.13 million UAH laid on Deposit. Although, as has established a consequence, in 2011 only one “Ukrbusinessbank” he made of 2.66 million.
GPU also emphasizes that the total income on account of his mother, brother and wife Arbuzov made 548,86 million UAH, of 41.28 million dollars. and 38 thousand euros. Investigators suspect that the hidden income of the mother.
