Groisman will not go to Brussels for a meeting of the government on the nationalization of PrivatBank.

Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman canceled a scheduled visit to Brussels, where he was to participate in the third meeting of the Association Council EU-Ukraine, citing its own sources in the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers, reports “Commander in chief”.

Note the cancellation of the visit of the Prime Minister does not mean the abolition of the Council of the Association, according to the newspaper, a delegation headed by Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration Ivanna klympush-Tsintsadze.

According to the “Commander in chief”, Groisman will not go on a business trip for a meeting of the government on the issue of nationalization of PrivatBank.

Thus, according to the press service of the Cabinet, 19 December are expected to participate, in the Third meeting of the Association Council EU-Ukraine.

During the visit, according to the press service of the government, was scheduled separate meetings with President of the European Council Donald Tusk and other leaders of the EU institutions.

Groisman also had to participate in a high-level conference on reforming Ukraine’s energy sector.

According to the results of the meeting of the Board of the Association Ukraine-EU, signing of a number of bilateral documents.

Also, the Cabinet may meet in extraordinary session for the discussion of PrivatBank today announced its own sources in the government to the Public.

We will remind that earlier the government had changed the procedure of nationalization of banks that svidetelstvuet on the preparation of the nationalization of PrivatBank.

Rumors about the possible nationalization of “PrivatBank” go to Ukraine for a long time, but lately they have intensified. In this case the Bank each time called such talk is a fake.

Earlier, the Chairman of the NBU Valery Gontareva said that before the end of the year will be a decision on PrivatBank.

PrivatBank was founded in 1992. As at 31 March 2016 and its largest shareholders are Gennady Bogolyubov (direct participation – 33,2525% indirectly – 8,3244%) and Kolomoisky (direct participation – 41,6572% indirectly – 8,3244%).

According to data of the national Bank of Ukraine, July 1, 2016 by total acts (268,85 billion hryvnia) the Bank was the largest among the 108 banks operating in the country.
