Groisman given two days to rectify the situation with the protection of information to launch e-Declaration

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman gave two days NAPC and the State for resolution of the situation regarding the failure to provide the information protection system of e-Declaration certificate of conformity that prevents starting of the project. About this he wrote on his page in Facebook.

“I have already warned the NAPC and GSSSZI (State service of special communication and information protection of Ukraine) – they have two days to rectify the situation. If the system of e-Declaration will not start on time, I will ensure that all who failed to timely launch of the system, including the leadership of these bodies suffered for it the most rigid personal responsibility,” he wrote, Groisman.

He also expressed outrage about the situation that has developed with the launch of electronic Declaration, namely regarding the failure in software certification, which is responsible for information security.

“I don’t see any justification that two days before the supposed date of introduction of system of e-declarations is accepted as the solution. Someone apparently really don’t want this system, which focuses on anti-corruption goal, really worked, and for this jeopardized not only the public’s confidence in government, but also Ukraine’s reputation in the eyes of international partners”, - stressed the Prime Minister.

We will remind, today it became known that the State did not provide a certificate of compliance with the information protection system for electronic Declaration. The report noted that it was a difficult decision, but the security system does not meet regulations. In addition, the State has not transferred the acts of trial operation, completion of works on creation of system of protection and the Protocol of its previous tests, which may indicate that the system is not completed.

Recently, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that the electronic Declaration of assets of Ukrainian officials will start from August 15, 2016 without delay.

This statement Poroshenko responded to the EU mission in Ukraine and supported the timely launch of e-Declaration.
