Last year, the Ukrainian workers transferred to Ukraine $7 billion, which is equal to 6.5% of GDP. It is reported by the national Association of companies for international employment, reports UNN.

“For 2016, our workers were transferred about $7 billion, if you count all private transfers in foreign currency, and not just those served by NBU. This means that the handymen conveyed home means that 6.5% of our GDP. This is less an indicator than in Albania, where it is 9%, but higher than in Moldova (6%). Today, Ukraine occupies 24-e a place in the world in terms of the contribution of laborers in money GDP”, – said the Director of the Ukrainian analytical center Alexander Okhrimenko.

In General, from 2011 to 2016, inclusive, Ukraine transferred $40,150 billion according to official figures. Unofficial translations make up 30 – 40% of this amount, and this is a plus $12 billion.

“That is, for the last six years, our country has received at least $52 billion from employees”, – said Okhrimenko.
