The mayor of Chernivtsi Alex Kaspruk has signed the order about quarantine introduction in schools
In Chernivtsi schools November 28 was closed for quarantine until December 2, because of the large number of children infected with respiratory virus diseases (ORVS). This reports the press service of the Chernivtsi city Council.
“According to monitoring results from the November 28, 2016 the children of secondary schools of the city of Chernivtsi percentage of missing children, cases of acute respiratory viral diseases (ORVS) ranges from 2% to 47.5%,” – said in the message.
It is noted that to prevent further spread of acute respiratory illnesses, including influenza, containment of the epidemic process and ensure a stable epidemic situation, suspended the educational process in General educational institutions of the city from 29 November to 2 December.
“Bukinfo” quoted the mayor Alexei Kaspruk, who signed the corresponding decree.
“According to our data at 11 institutions exceeded the epidemic threshold, but the data are not confirmed yet by the city health Department. There are many children in schools there, at the same time, very few appeals actually in the clinic. But do not trust the information of teachers, we have no reason, therefore, to break this chain of morbidity, announce a break from school until next Monday, ” – said Kaspruk.
