Ukraine has increased the minimum subsistence level

Today in Ukraine came into force a law increasing the subsistence minimum to UAH 1544, while the monthly minimum wage to 1600 1550 hryvnia is UAH.
Also entered the Cabinet decision to increase the salaries of workers of establishments, institutions and organizations of separate industries of the budget sphere.
The document introduces to the law on the state budget changes that increase social standards (salaries, benefits, pensions) and increase the size of payments for the provision of benefits and housing subsidies to the population to pay communal.
Thus, the subsistence minimum for a month increased from 1399 USD to 1544 USD. In addition, for basic social and demographic groups of the population, the subsistence minimum from December 1 will increase:
– for children under 6 years, from 1228 to 1355 UAH hryvnia;
for children aged 6 to 18 years, from 1531 1689 hryvnia to UAH;
– for able-bodied persons – UAH 1450 to 1600 UAH;
– for persons incapacitated, 1130 1247 UAH to UAH.
In addition, the monthly minimum wage today would be 1600 1550 hryvnia is UAH.
Following the growth of wages, the Cabinet had earlier adopted a resolution on the increase of salaries and the public sector.
The rate of the worker of first tariff category of Unified tariff increased by 150 UAH – to UAH 1335. The gap between the minimum wage and the tariff rate of the worker of first tariff category remains in the amount of 265 USD.
Increase salaries for all categories of employees with respect to qualification ratios to pay.
