The state statistics service recorded a deflation of 0.4% in Ukraine in February
At the same time for two months in 2016 consumer prices in Ukraine grew by 0.5%.
The state statistics service of Ukraine (derzhstat) recorded in February, deflation of 0.4% after rising 0.9% in January. Such data the Agency released Wednesday, March 9th.
According to the state statistics service, generally for two months of 2016 consumer prices in Ukraine grew by 0.5%.
At the same time, in February of this year the prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages decreased by 0.7%. Most (24.4%) shed eggs. At the same time (2.7, 1.2 percent) added the products of processing of grain, oil, milk and dairy products, margarine.
The growth of prices (tariffs) for housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels by 0.3% was mainly due to increase of tariffs for sanitation (2.2%), water (1.9%), rental housing (up 1.0%).
Prices for transport in General has not changed. When fuel and oil prices dropped by 1.0%, automobiles and aviation services rose by 4.2% and 3.8%, respectively.
