Militants “Islamic state” 19 times used chemical weapons in the Iraqi area of Mosul. This is referred to a report by British research firm IHS Markit showed today.
Experts do not exclude that the militants may re-use this kind of weapon in the fighting in the city. They may target both government forces and civilians. As stated in the document, apply the gunmen may have chlorine or mustard gas.

It is reported that according to the company, since 2014, “Islamic state” at least 52 times used chemical weapons in Iraq and Syria.
Earlier, the UN high Commissioner for human rights Zeid RA’ad al-Hussein said that the militants of the terrorist organization “Islamic state” set fire to the sulphur and use smoke as a chemical weapon in Mosul and its suburbs.
