Kerry at a meeting with Klimkin in Brussels stressed the continuous support of Ukraine by the USA

U.S. Secretary of state John Kerry at a meeting in Brussels with the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin stressed the continuous support of Ukraine from the American side. About it reported in a press-service of Embassy of the USA in Ukraine in Facebook.

“U.S. Secretary of state John Kerry met with the foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin and stressed the continuous support of Ukraine by the USA”, – stated in the message.

Kerry also expressed concern about the upsurge in violence in Eastern Ukraine, what is happening in recent times due to ongoing attacks by Russia-backed militants.

U.S. Secretary of state Kerry and foreign Minister Klimkin agreed on the need to accelerate implementation of the Minsk agreements as the best means to establish peace in the East of Ukraine.

U.S. Secretary of state also noted the importance of further progress on reforms.

Recall, U.S. Secretary of state Kerry took part in the second day of the meeting of foreign Ministers of member countries of NATO in Brussels, where the focus was Ukraine, in which NATO Ministers – the foreign Ministers reiterated support for Ukraine by NATO, its efforts to counter Russian aggression, as well as the implementation of the Minsk agreements and the agenda of reforms.

Note, on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Council Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin held a meeting with the foreign Minister of Estonia Sven Mixer.
