Tesla translated the whole island in the Pacific ocean to solar panels
Tesla is translated Koh Tao, located in the Pacific ocean, from diesel generators to solar panels. The details of the project reported in the company blog.
Reportedly, Tesla has installed on the island of 5.3 thousand solar panels placed 60 Tesla Powerpack batteries for energy storage. This will cover “almost 100%” of the energy needs of the island.

The total capacity of all the panels will be 1.4 MW. The project will provide about 600 inhabitants of the island energy.
