Kyiv about the decision of the court in London: This is the first step

Киев о решении суда в Лондоне: Это первый этап

Ukraine respects the decision of the High court of London

Ukraine believes that the court did not consider the objective facts of economic and military aggression from Russia.

London’s high court to “freeze” today’s decision on “duty of Yanukovych” until the next meeting, which will be held before the end of April. This was stated by the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Alexander danyluk, reports channel 112 Ukraine.

“Today’s decision is the first step. Ukraine received the court’s permission to appeal. At the request of Ukrainian lawyers, the court also agreed today to freeze the decision until the next meeting of the court, which will be held before the end of April. The next stages of the process Ukraine will continue to defend its position and to protect the public interest,” said danyluk.

The Minister also noted that Ukraine respects the decision of the High court of London for expedited consideration of the claim, but believes that it does not take into account “the objective facts of economic and military aggression against Ukraine and its people that Russia does without a break in 2014”.

As reported Корреспондент.nettoday, London’s High court approved expedited consideration of the claim of Russia to Ukraine, “Yanukovych debt” on Eurobonds for $ 3 billion.

The judge rejected the arguments of the Ukrainian side, including those removed from Russia’s accusations of political pressure on Ukraine.

Kiev will challenge the decision of the court, after receiving permission to appeal.
