Naftogaz is ready to hold a meeting at a convenient time.
Naftogaz of Ukraine supported the proposal to organize a trilateral meeting with the European Commission and Russia on the gas issue in Brussels. About it to Agency Interfax-Ukraine have declared in press-service of the company.
“We support the proposal of Mr. maroš Šefčovič (Vice-President of the European Commission Maros Sefcovic) to hold a trilateral meeting in Brussels in convenient time,” the company said.
The NAC stressed that the issue of gas imports to the Ukrainian market, the company is guided by two criteria: price and reliability.
“The inflexibility of Russian colleagues on these criteria has led to the fact that their proposal is not competitive in the course of the year. If Gazprom seeks to return to the circle of our suppliers, we are ready to discuss acceptable conditions for this”, – noted in the Naftogaz.
Earlier, Russian energy Minister Alexander Novak said that Russia and the European Commission agreed to hold a trilateral meeting with Ukraine on gas.
