Incriminating the ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych of treason, the Prosecutor General Yuri Lutsenko is caught in a logical trap. Such opinion on air of “112 Ukraine” said MP Serhiy Leshchenko.
“Incriminating Yanukovych of treason, Lutsenko is caught in a logical trap. Because treason on the part of Yanukovych, which was that he March 1, 2014 wrote a letter to Putin urging them to get troops on the territory of Ukraine, it could only be that if he this time was the President of Ukraine Lutsenko does not work logic. Or on the one hand he can accuse Yanukovych of treason only if he recognizes the legitimacy of Yanukovych as of March 1, 2014. Otherwise, the actions of Yanukovych, it is a call to Putin – it’s just the call of an ordinary citizen, a natural person. And obviously it Putin should not in any way to respond. Then treason disappears…” – said the MP.

He also said that Lutsenko did not have the right to read the suspicion Yanukovych.
“He, as attorney General, had no right to read this document. Because he made Yanukovych a unique opportunity, everywhere in the European court of human rights a complaint against the actions of Lutsenko”.
We will remind, the General Prosecutor Yuriy Lutsenko to Svyatoshynsky court read Viktor Yanukovych notice of suspicion of treason.
