Militants increase the number of attacks from heavy weapons positions of the Armed forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the zone of the antiterrorist operation (ATO) in connection with the conduct of command and staff military exercises. About this on his page in Facebook press center of staff ATO.

“According to the intelligence headquarters of the anti-terrorist operation on the temporarily occupied territory of Eastern Ukraine continue, command-staff exercises of the Russian occupation troops – 1st (Donetsk) and 2nd (Lugansk) AK Centre of the territorial army IN the South. In the framework of the command-staff exercises, the enemy holds firing exercises on the territory controlled by Ukraine. With these exercises, the ATO command associates the increase in the number of attacks on our strongholds, during which the invaders use heavy weapons banned by the Minsk agreements”, – stated in the message.

It is added that the staff do not predict that the end of these exercises, the situation will improve. “According to intelligence, the Russian Federation continues to fully provide the enemy units. In the last days, recorded facts arrival in the occupied territory of East vehicles, ammunition, fuel, lubricants and personnel”, – explained in the message.

Also in headquarters suggest that heavy weapons could be imported fighters from Russia with “humanitarian convoy”.
