Moldova decided to buy the basic amount of electricity in Transnistria

Ukraine will supply to Moldova only 30% of the required amount of electricity.

Moldova will buy 70% of electricity from Moldavskaya GRES (GRES) in Transnistria at a price that is 10% below the cost of Ukrainian electricity. It is reported portal NewsMaker.

It is reported that the contract between the Moldovan state company Energocom and the Moldavian state district power station came into effect yesterday, June 5. The remaining 30% of electricity of Moldova will continue to buy in Ukraine.

Moldavian GRES introduced a new price offer for energy supplies after the end of March Energocom signed with the Ukrainian company DTEK trading contract for the supply of electricity to Moldova.

GRES proposed purchase price 10% lower than Energocom pays DTEK trading.

As reported Корреспондент.netApril 1 Energocom Moldovan and Ukrainian DTEK trading signed a contract for the supply of electricity from Ukraine to Moldova. The contract was signed for the period to 31 March 2018.
