The Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine voted for resignation of the President of Ukrtransgaz
In the near future, Naftogaz plans to hold a competition for the position of President of Ukrtransgaz.
Naftogaz of Ukraine has dismissed from a post of the President of PJSC Ukrtransgaz, Igor Prokopov, the press service of the state holding the evening of 17 March.
“The Board of “Naftogaz of Ukraine” in coordination with the Supervisory Board voted for the resignation of the President of the PJSC “Ukrtransgaz” Igor Prokopov”, − stated in the message.
In the near future, Naftogaz plans to hold a competition for the position of President of Ukrtransgaz, and has already announced the search for candidates.
Currently, the duties of the President of the company temporarily takes the first Vice-President Miroslav Khimko.
Ukrtransgaz, 100% owned NAK Naftogaz Ukrainy, operates a system of trunk pipelines and 12 underground gas storages of the country with a total capacity of 31 billion cubic meters.
We will remind, Prokop has held the position of President of the company since August 2014. In February 2017 the Board of Naftogaz suspended him from his duties as President, and the Supervisory Board of the state holding approved the decision.
After mass media reported about the dismissal Prokopov, but official confirmation of this information was not.
