The delay in negotiations is that Salido on may 27, will hold his next fight with Amvona, Suryo, and after that he is ready to discuss his future plans.
“On Monday, may 29, we want to close the deal. Lomachenko has said many times that the fight with Salido has for him. If this were so, he would have stopped to think about it and went on.
Salido is a few years older, and Lomachenko is better. But let’s see what happens. Salido is a more difficult opponent than everyone Lomachenko fought after that defeat,” said Sean Gibbons.
