The same number believe that the blame for the Ukrainian government.

One third of the inhabitants of the East and South of Ukraine blame for the conflict in the Donbas for Russia (33%) and Ukrainian government (33%). This is according to the survey of Institute of mass information.

Another 16% of respondents tend to blame the conflict, the European Union and the United States, and 17% – “the people who are fighting against the Ukrainian government in Eastern Ukraine.”

Additionally, 17% of the respondents agree that Ukraine should resume full-scale military operations to retake occupied territory in Donetsk and Lugansk regions. Another 39% believe that Kiev should not compromise with Russia on the issue of returning Crimea and the Donbass.

The survey was conducted by GfK on behalf of the Institute of mass information with the support of Ukrainian initiatives to enhance confidence (UCBI) and USAID in January-March 2017. 15 were interviewed 103 respondents in eight regions – Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Zaporozhye, Nikolaev, Kherson, Odessa, Donetsk and Luhansk regions controlled by Kyiv. The theoretical error does not exceed 1% for the entire sample and 2.5% for each region separately with a probability of 0.95.

Earlier it was reported that the economic blockade of Donbass support 37% of Ukrainians speak against 46%.
