Parliament will withdraw parliamentary immunity from Novinsky, although attempts braking process is possible, – Patskan

For removal of inviolability from the people’s Deputy, member of faction “the Opposition bloc” Vadim Novinsky today in Parliament will be enough votes, although it is possible that the process will be inhibited. Such forecast on air of TV channel “112 Ukraine” was made by the Deputy (PPB) Valery Patskan.

“I think the votes for removal of immunity Novinsky will be enough today. But of course, it will depend on what is today the position represented by the attorney General, and what kind of motivation will give our colleagues from the procedural Committee,” – he said.

The Patskan did not rule out that there may be attempts of braking the process of removing the immunity with Novinsky. “Of course, would not vote, “Opposition bloc” may not vote “Revival” and “will of the people,” he said.

As reported, today the Verkhovna Rada is considering the performance of the GPU during the celebration of the first issue on the agenda.

Novinsky is suspected of committing criminal offenses under part 2 of article 146 (“Illegal imprisonment or kidnapping”) and part 1 of article 365 (“Excess of power or office powers employee of law enforcement body) the Criminal code of Ukraine. In the view of the GPU refers to the abuse of power Novinsky and committing crimes together with ex-President Viktor Yanukovych and law enforcement officers in the illegal imprisonment of Archbishop (now – Metropolitan) Alexander (drabinko), when he was assistant to the late Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) Volodymyr (Sabodan).

Novinsky he pleaded not guilty and believes the case is political.
