At the same time, Poroshenko noted that more work is needed to more Ukrainians could afford a trip to Europe.
He also said that the decision of the European Parliament is much more than “free travel and freedom of movement”.
“This is a great pride for Ukrainian citizenship and the attractiveness of Ukrainian passports. It is a symbol of Ukraine’s belonging to a common European civilizational space,” he said.
According to him, today’s vote is recognition the European Parliament, “the depth of our reforms.”
“Innovations such as e-Declaration of state officials, or the establishment of new and reform of old anti-corruption bodies, have become possible thanks to the implementation of this plan,” the President added.
Note, the EU said today that the majority of Ukrainians do not know how the visa-free regime.
