Ukraine is committed to intensifying efforts on a whole range of reforms.

President Petro Poroshenko has signed the law on amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning Ukraine’s foreign policy. About it reports a press-service of the head of state on Thursday, July 6.

“Ukraine’s accession to NATO clearly identified as one of the key factors of the state policy”, – stated in the message.

According to the document, changes are made to the laws on the basis of national security of the country, internal and foreign policy of Euro-Atlantic integration.

“One of the priorities of national interests of Ukraine the document defined the Euro-Atlantic integration with the aim of acquiring membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization”, – noted in press service.

Ukraine is committed to intensifying efforts on a whole range of reforms, including in the field of defence and security to achieve compliance with the criteria for membership in the Alliance.

Recall, 8 June 2017, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the law on the consolidation of Ukraine’s membership in NATO as a foreign policy priority.

Earlier, foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin said that Ukraine will achieve all the standards of NATO until 2020.
