Negotiations of Petro Poroshenko with the heads of EU institutions 24.11.2016
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during the summit Ukraine – EU in Brussels held talks with President of European Parliament Martin Schulz and President of the European Council Donald Tusk and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker. This was reported by press Secretary of the head of state Svyatoslav Tsegolko on Twitter.
Tsigalko said that after talking to four presidents with eye to eye began talks in expanded format.
In the summit’s agenda is the discussion of the reform process in Ukraine, sectoral cooperation in various fields, in particular in the area of justice, freedom and security. Among the issues on the agenda is the liberalization of the visa regime between Ukraine and the European Union.
In addition, the participants of the summit will discuss issues of trade cooperation, including the provisional application of the deep and comprehensive free trade area and sectoral cooperation in the fields of energy and transport.
On the agenda is also the issue of extending sanctions against Russia because of the failure of the Minsk agreements.

Recall, this is the 18 th summit EU – Ukraine. In the course of negotiations can be made the decision to allocate 15 million euros to support programs to fight corruption, as well as 140 million euros for the reform of public administration; announced the launch of a new programme in support of the rule of law (mainly through judicial and police reform).
