The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko after the summit Ukraine – EU held a meeting with representatives of business circles of the European Union. About it reports a press-service of the President.
The President was informed about the reforms in Ukraine. Poroshenko stressed that in 2014 Ukraine is constantly improving its score in the ranking of Doing business. According to a recent report 2017 Ukraine occupies 80-th position.
“It is very important to work together and to work together to build a new Ukraine on the third anniversary of the revolution of dignity,” he said.

European Commissioner for trade Cecilia Malmstrom noted the growth of Ukrainian exports to the EU market. “Since the Revolution of dignity, the anniversary of which was celebrated recently, Ukraine has made significant progress. Today Ukraine is another country: the banking sector, gas, police, public procurement and the macroeconomic situation,” said the Commissioner, adding that more needed to be done. According to her, the EU is interested in further cooperation with Ukraine.
During the meeting with malmström was provided with a draft legislative initiative of the EU on granting Ukraine the additional trade preferences. Advisor to the President of Ukraine Borys Lozhkin also made a presentation of the reforms, in particular on investment climate.
We will note, earlier the Cabinet of Ministers abolished 367 regulations in the sphere of business regulation and entrepreneurship.
