All ten of the Ukrainian rescuers, who participated in extinguishing fires in Israel, has received awards from the government of this country. This was announced by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
“I called our pilots, who in those days helped our Israeli partners to extinguish the fire near Haifa. Thanks guys, for exemplary performance of assigned tasks,” – wrote the head of state on his profile page on Facebook.
According to him, today all ten of the Ukrainian rescuers – Igor Runev, Constantine kolomin, Andrei Zaitsev, Rodion Petrik, Alexander Shevchuk, Mikhail Antonenko, Igor Bubin, Sergiy Fishchuk, Oleg Romashchenko, Vladimir Levchenko has received awards from the Israeli government.
“Tomorrow, the guys will return to Ukraine. Waiting at home”, – said Poroshenko.
As reported Корреспондент.netNovember 24 Ukraine gave Israel their planes for extinguishing fires. Poroshenko also signed a decree on providing humanitarian assistance to the country.
