The President is allowed to penalize the TV and radio for separatism
If after the fine campaign does not repeat the violation, the penalty during the year is eliminated.
President Petro Poroshenko has signed a law that allows the national Council on television and radio to penalize violators of the law, according to the website of the bill.
The bill provides that the national Council on television and radio broadcasting may impose sanctions for television broadcasters who are now required by law.
Also refers to the possibility of the Council to impose fines.
If after the fine campaign does not repeat the violation, the penalty during the year is eliminated and the warning does not apply to this TV.
The introduction of these changes, the MPs were motivated by the need natsregulyatora to influence Ukraine’s information space to such phenomena as separatism.
We will remind, in the beginning of this month allowed to fine the TV without warning.
