Putin recognized the validity of military ranks of military from the Crimea
He signed a decree that recognizes the actual title of the Ukrainian military defected to Russia.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree that recognized as valid the military ranks of military from the Crimea, have fallen in military service under contract in the Russian army.
The text of the decree posted on the official Internet portal of legal information.
“To establish that the military ranks, documents on education or qualification living in the territories of the Republic of Crimea and city of Sevastopol citizens of the Russian Federation, received in the period 18 March 2014 to 2 January 2015, on military service under the contract in military units and organizations of the Armed Forces stationed in the territories of those constituent entities of the Russian Federation and documents on passage of military service in the armed forces, military formations and law enforcement bodies of Ukraine, which provide for military service, are considered valid upon presentation of original documents,” – said in the text of the decree.
Note that this decree signed shortly after the arrest and detention of the Crimean war. According to the SBU, before the annexation of the Peninsula they served in the Ukrainian army.
Also note that Kiev recently explained, one of the Crimean people considered deserters.
