Skoryk: the Contest for the post of head of the Odessa regional state administration is turning into a circus

The people’s Deputy from “Oppositional block” Nikolay Skorik has called the contest for the vacant position of head of the Odessa regional state administration “the circus”, which has nothing to do with the interests of the residents of the city. About it reports a press-political force service.

“All these tenders – how to the post of head of national police, and the position of the head of the Odessa regional state administration – this is another circus and a game of musical chairs. With the interests of the people these amusements have nothing to do”, – said Mykola Skoryk.

According to Skoryk, with the help of the competition authorities are trying to put on a position of the head of RSA “their” candidate.

“With the help of supposedly fair and transparent competition authority is again trying to introduce in the Odessa region of your man who is a stranger to the region. In order to divert attention from the “right” candidates have already started the circus with the nomination for the position of famous entertainers,” said the MP.

Mykola Skoryk is convinced that such a person will not know the problems of the region, will focus in the socio-economic situation and, most importantly, will not have trust and credibility in Odessa.

“Our region does not need a parade float, behind which businessmen from the government will share the financial flows and deal with corruption. Odessa region should be headed by a professional Manager who understands the problems of the region and knows how to solve them”, – the politician noted.

According to Mykola Skoryk, the new Governor of the Odessa region will have to restore the prestige of the Governor’s office, as the previous leader Mikheil Saakashvili used the position as a PR platform.

“Besides, you need to debug the mechanism of interaction between the Odessa regional state administration and Odessa regional Council, to establish communication with the heads of districts and district councils”, – said the MP.

He noted that the Governor has to be first and foremost not a politician, but a man who is responsible for socio-economic and cultural development of the region.

“The new Governor must be a lobbyist for my region, for example, as is done in Lviv and Vinnitsa governors, lobbying for the interests of their communities at the regional level and the country”, – said Mykola Skoryk.

Note that your participation in the contest for the post of head of the Odessa regional state administration has said outrageous Kiev businessman Garik Korogodsky, a former MP from the Party of regions and ex-the Governor of Lviv region Vasyl Horbal, as well as blogger and TV presenter Vladimir Petrov (also known as the “Lumpen”).
