After the transition of “PrivatBank” to the state, the national Bank moved from a phase of cleansing the banking sector to the stage of rebooting the banking system. Now in the Ukrainian banking sector the share of state-owned banks account for 52% of assets and 59% of deposits of the population.

This was stated by Deputy head of the national Bank Dmitry Sologub at CIS bankers T10 Forum, reported the press service of the national Bank in Facebook.

The total share of Russian banks in Ukraine are insignificant. According to the national Bank, their share in assets accounted for 9% for deposits to 4.5%.

We will remind, earlier it was reported that Russian state-owned banks are looking for buyers to sell their “daughters” in Ukraine.
