“From may 15 in all combat units will be entered as military chaplains. We conducted a survey in military academies, studied the ratio of different denominations, made up the lists of candidates,” he said.
According to him, chaplains are willing to work, they have to pass an interview with the commanders of military units and to get an appointment.
The General noted that the introduction of chaplaincy in the armed forces will be implemented in two phases, with the first one until the end of June military chaplains would be available for combat units, and to the end of the year in all units of the armed forces.
In combat brigades, according to Gruntkowski will work from two to four chaplains.
