The Congress of judges elected two members of VSP

Nicholas A. Hudik and Viktor Shapran has been elected by secret ballot.

The extraordinary 14th Congress of judges on the evening of March 14, elected the two members of the high Council of justice, the judge of appellate court of Kiev Nikolay A. Hudik and judge of the Kiev appellate economic court Viktor Shapran, reports Interfax-Ukraine.

Members of the VSP Hudik and Shapran has been elected by secret ballot by the delegates of the Congress quota of the common courts.

As expected, the three members of the GSP from General courts and administrative will be elected on the continuation of Congress on Wednesday, March 15.

Of the 44 candidates in the ballot were included 24 people. Those candidates for which there were established facts, cast doubt on the objectivity of their possible work in the new office, were excluded from the list.

Rada adopted the law on the High Council of justice

Earlier it was reported that the High Council of justice for the first time allowed arrest of the judge.
