The Kyiv court of appeals annulled the ruling by the Pechersk district court on dismissal of the mayor of Bucha (Kyiv region) Anatoly Fedoruk from his post. This was stated by the lawyer from the defense team Fedoruk Valentina Telichenko, reports “Interfax-Ukraine”.
“The court reversed the decision of the district court on the dismissal, stating that the suspicion is not justified adequately,” – said the lawyer.
Thus, the appellate court dismissed the appeal of protection, which appealed the dismissal. This appellate court decision is not appealable.
According to Telichenko, the hearing protection, in particular, pointed to the fact that the suspect is called a forest of the first category is part of Buchi, which is a school in 1953 and built numerous residential houses, which are home to about a third of the city’s residents.
Recall, October 13, the court chose a measure of restraint in respect of the mayor of the town of Bucha, Kiev region, Anatoly Fedoruk, placing it under nightly house arrest. And the Prosecutor’s office filed a motion to dismiss Fedoruk from office of the mayor Buchi, which was later granted.

On 11 October the General Prosecutor of Ukraine reported about suspicion Fedoruk and Luchanskogo Secretary of the city Council Oleksiuk on charges of illegal transfer to the property of individuals and legal entities 68 hectares of land. Both defendants were notified of suspicion in committing a criminal offense under part 2 of article 364 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (“Abuse of office”).
