The ex-Minister of justice of Ukraine Elena Lukash
The Pechersky district court of Kiev satisfied the claim of the former Minister of justice of Ukraine Elena Lukash on the protection of honor, dignity and business reputation and ordered the General Prosecutor of Ukraine (GPU) to refute information, published in November 2015, the former representative of the GPU Vladislav Kutsenko, regarding the announcement of the official in the international search. A decision of the court published Lucas on his page in Facebook.
According to the document, the Pechersk district court ordered the GPU and Vladislav Kutsenko within ten days to refute the information he disseminated during the joint briefing of the GPU and the SBU November 5, 2015, where, in particular, said: “In September 2015, we turned to Interpol regarding the announcement of Mrs. Lucas on the international wanted list, but today it so happened that she returned to Ukraine”.
The court also decided to recover from the Prosecutor General’s office for the benefit of Lucas court fee in the amount of 1.46 thousand.
It is noted that the court’s decision can be appealed in Appellate court of Kiev.
Recall, October 5, Lukash said that the Kyiv court of Appeals upheld her complaint, recognizing false information submitted by the Prosecutor General’s office to make the former official to a sanctions list by the Council of the European Union.
The GPU said that the ex-Minister of justice Elena Lukash suspect in the misappropriation of 2,5 million hryvnias from the state budget of Ukraine and Commission of office forgery, entailed heavy consequences.
