The new tranche will be transferred to Athens after the IMF decision on the next financial aid to the country.

The Council of Finance Ministers of the Eurozone countries (Eurogroup) agreed on the possibility of allocation of Greece next tranche of financial aid 8.5 billion euros.

In a statement issued following the meeting of the Eurogroup, said that this amount will be allocated, following a decision by the governing bodies of the European stability mechanism (ESM).

The head of ESM Klaus Regling at a press conference after a meeting of the Eurogroup announced that Greece will receive a new subtrans loan in early July.

The amount will be given in two parts. The first transfer of this tranche is expected in early July and will amount to 7.7 billion euros, 0.8 billion euros and the rest are expected to be listed “after the summer” with the implementation by Greece of certain conditions, said Regling.

Member of the European Commission for economic and financial Affairs Pierre Moscovici said that tranche, agreed on 15 June the Eurogroup, will be transferred to Athens after the IMF decision on the next financial aid to the country.

Recall, the Greek Parliament approved new austerity measures, the adoption of which was demanded by international lenders.

Earlier, the IMF has threatened to withdraw from participating in the bailout of Greece if its debt is restructured.
