Cooperation extended until 2019.
The European Parliament has extended the cooperation with the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine until 2019. This was announced by the former head of the European Parliament Committee on foreign Affairs Elmar Brok at a press briefing on Thursday, April 20.
“On behalf of the European Parliament and its Chairman, to convey to you the confirmation that the European Parliament supported the continuation of cooperation with the Ukrainian Parliament for the entire term of the European Parliament until 2019 and we want to pass this Memorandum. The more Ukraine will go the way of democracy, development, rule of law, the more it will strengthen and show the perspective of the EU,” said Brock.
In turn, the speaker of Parliament Andriy Parubiy thanked Brock for his cooperation.
