The European Parliament postponed the consideration of granting Ukraine a visa-free regime for February 1, 2017 this was reported on the website of the European Parliament.

According to the report, the consideration of granting a visa-free regime to Ukraine postponed from 18 January to 1 February 2017 Issue will be considered by MEPs in the first reading.

Recall that according to the correspondent of “Radio Liberty” Ricarda of Jozwiak, 14 December the European Parliament will host a debate on the suspension of visa-free regime, and the vote is scheduled for December 15. After the decision of this question, MEPs should begin to address the issue of introducing a visa-free regime for Ukraine.

After approval of the document on the suspension bezveza in the European Parliament it will be granted on the approval of the EU Council. According to experts, depending on how quickly Brussels will be to make decisions, it is hoped that in early 2017, in January or February, the visa-free regime for Ukraine will start to work.
