Sebastian Kurz plans to visit in Mariupol.

The Austrian foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz plans immediately to visit the South-East of Ukraine. According to DW, the diplomat on January 3 and 4 will visit Mariupol in the Metropolitan area, to get an idea about what is happening in the region.

The Minister called for a gradual lifting of EU sanctions against Russia, stressing that relations with Russia need to change the established trend, and “to every positive development in the field to respond to a gradual easing of sanctions.”

It is also reported that Austria from 1 January to rotation will become Chairman of the Organization for security and cooperation in Europe (OSCE).

As reported the Correspondent.net, 28 December the OSCE evacuated the base in Svetlodarsk.
