Ukraine’s economy has been slow growth

Real gross domestic product of Ukraine grew by two percent.

Gross domestic product (GDP) in the THIRD quarter of 2016 compared to the previous quarter (adjusted for seasonal factors) increased by 0.5%, as compared to the same period last year by 2%. The relevant data were published the State statistics service of Ukraine on Monday, 19 Dec.

So, the nominal GDP amounted to 664,7 billion, and per person – 15 UAH 568 (in the III quarter of 2015 – 13 155 hryvnia).

Data are shown excluding the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, city of Sevastopol and part of the zone of the antiterrorist operation.

The authorities announced a sharp reduction of inflation

Earlier, the state statistics Committee said that Ukraine’s real GDP in the third quarter increased by 1.8%.
