TV channel journalist Savik Shuster 3s.tv ceases its activities on 1 January 2017 due to financial problems. This was reported on the channel page in Facebook.
The statement said that the attempt of the channel to work without the support of the oligarchy over the fact that he ran out of money.
“Unfortunately, the situation on the media market of our country is brought to the absurd: all the channels are unprofitable, they exist only at the expense of owners and oligarchs. In these circumstances, our attempt to work according to the normal rules businessovy failed: we received a criminal case and fines from the tax, and Savik took a work permit. It’s all not going anywhere and after closing 3s.tv: judicial red tape has yet to be overcome, and now without the channel we almost won’t be able to tell about this society… We have to say goodbye with love, because we ran out of money,” – said in a statement.
On the television say that over the past year to the club 3s.tv joined more than 20 thousand people from all over the world, but the club did not have enough funds to cover the activities of the channel. The business representatives with whom contact was the channel the financial support received only from one person.
“If in the coming weeks some of them will respond – we may be able to avoid such a conclusion”, – stated in the message.

Later the Kyiv district administrative court and the Kyiv administrative court of appeal annulled the decision of the Kyiv city employment center and reaffirmed the right of the Savik Shuster to work in Ukraine.
