The Ministry of infrastructure development of the United Arab Emirates is going in the future to build a building only with the use of 3D printing technologies. It is reported by UAE newspaper Khaleej Times.
“All the buildings that will be built by the Ministry in the future throughout the UAE, will be printed on a 3D printer,” – said the representative of the Ministry of Munir Abdel Karim.
According to estimates by the UAE authorities, the 3D printing technology will reduce construction time and costs 70-80%.
The greatest attention to the development of 3D printing pays in Dubai, where by 2030 25% of all buildings according to the plans of the government, will be built using this technology.
