“The Ukrainian choice — the Right of the people” appealed to law enforcement bodies with the requirement to investigate the attack on the office of the Movement. It is reported by the Executive Committee of the organization.
“One of the organizers and instigators of the attack on the office of the Movement is the commander of the battalion OUN N. Kohanivsky, who took part in the pogrom. Among the attackers was also the people’s Deputy I. Mosiychuk. On the preparation of defeat of office of the said A. Skoropadskyi, the press Secretary of “Right sector”, thus confirming the participation of its activists in the attack on the office of the Movement “the Ukrainian choice — the Right of the people”, — said in a statement.
In “the Ukrainian choice — the Right of people” believe the actions of protesters containing signs of the crime provided by part two of article 258 of the criminal code of Ukraine (“Terrorist act”).
“The illegal actions of radicals setting fire to the room in which there were more than 10 staff Movements bore a direct threat of mass death of people,” said the Medvedchuk.
In the social movement claim that the incident also falls under action of article 294 of the Criminal code of Ukraine, namely: the organization of mass riots and hooliganism.
“The Ukrainian choice — the Right of the people” considers the attack on his office by the continuation of terror and political persecution against Viktor Medvedchuk, consistently and systematically carried out in the last years.
“”The Ukrainian choice — the Right of the people” insists on registration in the Unified register of pretrial investigations the information about the execution of a group of persons of the offences provided for by part two of article 296, the first part of article 294 of the Criminal code of Ukraine, and also requires you to start pre-trial investigation and notify, in writing, according to the established by law procedure, the end of pre-trial investigation and the beginning of criminal proceedings”, — reads the statement of the Executive Committee.
