Despite the threats of the Russian Federation, Ukraine will continue missile tests in the framework of its sovereign territory. This was stated by the head of the national security Council and defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov, the press service of the Ministry.
According to the Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine, despite threats and attempts at escalation of the conflict with Russia, “we will continue to strengthen the defense capability of our state and we will continue missile tests and training, in accordance with the approved plans and schedules within our sovereign territory and sovereign air space”.
“Ukraine acts in all international agreements and undertaken international obligations, so we pay attention to our international partners on a conscious provocation by the Russian Federation with the aim of further escalation of military aggression in the region”, – said the head of the NSDC of Ukraine.
According to him, the statements of the Russian Federation is an attempt to provoke active aggression.
“Threats to use weapons against Ukraine is an attempt of translation in the active phase of the hybrid war that Russia is waging against our country over the last three years”, – said Turchinov.
He added that Russia is in parallel with the announcement of the threats deploys new division directly near the Ukrainian border.
