Ukraine could lose the Eurovision song contest-2017 due to the delay with the organization. This was told by acting Director General of NTKU Alexander Harbin, reports “TSN”.
“In early October, the European broadcasting Union as the owner of the brand “Eurovision”, gave NTU a red card timing and actually disrupt the preparations for the Eurovision song contest”, he said. Among the reasons Harabin called bureaucracy, imperfection of legislative acts and neglect of some officials to the competition.
At the same time Harbin assured that in October they caught up, and backlog three months was reduced to one. So now the Ukraine is behind schedule, but not so much. The final decision of whether or not a Ukrainian Eurovision song contest, the European broadcasting Union should adopt at the General Assembly, which will take place on 8 December.
